The steroid named Clonidine Hydrochloride (Catapres) is highly suitable for control of high blood pressure in many patients. It is a prescription drug that finds use in many blood pressure regulating medicines. There are several versions of this steroid that either work for a long time to produce effects or restores normalcy immediately after use. The different forms of Catapres namely Duraclon and Nexiclon serve special functions of reducing physical pain and psychological distress due to cancer and hypertension respectively. If used with morphine, an opiate, it brings effective relief from nerve pains also. However, post-surgery and injury pains are not treated by this due to certain menaces.
